Welcome to my portfolio! This site is a reflection not only of my skills as a public health professional but also of my commitment to social justice, health equity and cultural competency within in public health. My personal and professional experiences, coupled with my expertise in analytic writing, research, critical thinking, digital applications and teamwork makes me an excellent candidate to help you and your organization reach your goals. Practice Overview As a practitioner and consultant, I have engaged with communities from a harm reduction perspective to develop creative approaches to public health concerns while building important technical skills across a number of different content areas, including women's health and homelessness. I also have extensive experience developing, implementing, and managing programs in the non-profit and business sectors and have strong skills in marketing and branding. Recently, I have embarked on several different public health-based digital application and website design including work with RTI International and Off the Mat, a non-profit that engages people in social activism through the avenue of yoga. Health inequities and barriers to quality, affordable, culturally competent health care continue to persist in our society. These barriers erode the well being of the communities and individuals we serve. In our rapidly changing political and economic environment, it's up to us to engage collaboratively in strategies that build sustainability and empower communities to participate in working for social change.
